How Do I help With Hypnobirthing?
Hypnobirthing is the use of deep relaxation techniques, self-hypnosis and hypnoanesthesia during childbirth for a faster and softer course.
If you are interested in hypnobirthing, we will start preparing for it in a few months. First of all, we will work through and let go of possible anxieties and fears associated with childbirth or future motherhood.
You will learn relaxation, meditation and visualization techniques, as well as breathing techniques at different stages of labor.
Through regular relaxation sessions you will learn to immerse yourself in a state of deep relaxation. In this state, it will be easier for you to allow your body to do what nature intended. After all, childbirth is the same physiological process as the digestion of food, sleep or other body work that we do without thinking.
Likewise in childbirth: the less you use the neocortex (rational brain), the easier the birth process will be.
The less tension in the body, the more relaxed the muscles, the less pain.
During labor, I will help you enter a state of deep relaxation and will support you throughout the process. In a state of self-hypnosis, you will be aware of what is happening around you, but at the same time you will be deeply relaxed and focused.
According to statistics:
- 91% give birth to hypnomas without epidural anesthesia;
- 90% of hypnomas give birth naturally, and only 10% through a cesarean section;
- 45% of hypnomas are eager for up to 8 hours.
