How Do I Help In The Postpartum Period
During childbirth not only the baby is born, but also the mother. My task is to create a supportive and caring atmosphere in which you can calmly get used to a new role, recover, get to know your baby, learn to listen to your maternal instincts.
As a postnatal doula I can:
- listen to your birth story and help you get through it
- provide breastfeeding support
- help other family members adapt to the new family environment
- show how you can bathe, swaddle and take care of your baby
- teach different ways to calm a crying baby
- make a relaxing massage with rebozo
- be with your child while you sleep / eat / take a bath / have me-time
- share the contacts of specialists (osteopaths, chiropractors, sleep consultants, photographers for newborns).
